Dear IB Students & Alumni,
During the IB I’ve always been curious about
six degrees of separation, which “refers to the idea that, if a person is one step away from each person he or she knows and two steps away from each person who is known by one of the people he or she knows, then everyone is an average of six "steps" away from each person on Earth.” (Wikipedia)
When you are at an International School you realize that being six steps away from everybody in the world is not such a crazy thought. Moving around all over the world, running into old friends and often meeting someone who knows someone you know.
I want to see how many degrees of seperation there are between those who have done or are doing the IB-Diploma Program. I have created this network to connect everyone who's done/doing the IB.
To do this I need your help!
• Login to Facebook or your email account
• Message / Email everyone you know this message
• Ask them to signup and do the same
Together we can connect the whole IB community.
Facebook grew so big because it had a clean design but mostly a more intellectual crowd then MySpace. Now imagine combining the knowledge and connections of everyone who's done the IB-DP.
IB students are all unique but still we think alike:
• Open-mindedness
• Questioning the world around us
• Looking at things from different angles
Does this sound familiar?

Thank you,
